Heart failure

Heart failure means that your heart muscle doesn't pump as much blood as your body needs. In time, this causes fluid to build up in your body, and you have symptoms like swelling in the legs and feeling out of breath and weak.

Heart failure usually gets worse over time. But treatment can slow the disease and help you feel better and live longer.

COVID-19 Updates

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering both existing and new patients the option to have appointments via telemedicine (similar to Skype and Facetime) in place of an in-office visit. This is available to all patients in the state of Texas! Please call the office if you have any questions or refer to our telemedicine instruction page to learn more about telemedicine visits at Pathway Psychiatry.
