Ashley Gardner, MD
Board Certified Psychiatrist
Dr. Gardner graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she received her Doctorate of Medicine. Dr. Gardner completed Psychiatry Residency Training at the University of Texas Southwestern, in Dallas, Texas, and is a Board Certified Psychiatrist through ABPN (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology), licensed in the State of Texas.
Throughout her training, Dr. Gardner received extensive experience in treating patients with a variety of psychiatric illnesses, using both psychopharmacology (medications) and psychotherapy (talk-therapy). She received training in psychodynamic, motivational, supportive, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She also worked in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric units, psychiatric emergency departments, private and public hospitals, outpatient psychiatric clinics, and the Veteran’s Affairs hospital.
Dr. Gardner is a member of the Wylie Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and also serves as Volunteer Faculty at UT Southwestern in Dallas, where she is a Psychotherapy Supervisor for Psychiatry Residents.

Lauren Butcher, LCSW
Lauren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) through the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners and is licensed in the state of Texas. She graduated from University of Texas Dallas with a Bachelors in Public Affairs and attended Texas A&M Commerce and graduated with a Masters in Social Work in 2013.
Lauren has experience providing counseling and case management services to children, adults and families in home and agency settings. She has worked extensively with individuals in crisis, adversity and mental health. Lauren is trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and trauma-based therapy. She has additional experience in treatment areas including depression, anxiety, PTSD, foster care, adoption, attachment, grief and loss, family conflict, relationships and abuse issues (including sexual abuse, emotional, domestic abuse and childhood trauma) and has worked in a variety of settings, including Child Protective Services, hospice, Child Advocacy Centers, and private practice.
Lauren has a passion for helping others and strives to ensure clients feel heard, supported and empowered. She utilizes strength-based approaches and integrates various treatment therapies to best meet the needs and goals of her clients.
During her free time Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and jeeping.

Chris Barela, MA, LMFT
Chris is a Licensed Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists and is licensed in the state of Texas. He completed his graduate training at St. Edwards University, in Austin, TX.

Cate Rossio, LPC
Cate Rossio is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UNT Dallas. Cate has experience counseling individuals, families, and groups across all age ranges but with a focus on children and teens aged 3-16.
Using play therapy, expressive arts, sand tray, and Theraplay techniques, Cate meets her clients where they are at developmentally. She encourages her clients to get curious and creative as they navigate and work through different presenting concerns, such as anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, demand avoidance, trauma, grief, and various other major life stressors. When working with children, Cate places a particular emphasis on a collaborative and integrative approach in which parents, teachers, and other professionals in her clients’ lives are included and consulted with to establish a strong network of support.
Cate is passionate about being neurodiversity-affirming, and she uses a client-centered and solution-focused modality that prioritizes safety, compassion, and acceptance to support her clients in cultivating meaningful change.
Outside of the therapy room, Cate strives to advocate for expanded access to mental healthcare. She also enjoys crocheting, volunteering, miniatures, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Sarah Davis, LPC
Sarah Davis received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Baylor University. Over the past 18 years, she has provided counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, premarital couples, and couples in settings that include schools, community mental health, and private practice. Her current practice focuses on adult women and adolescents aged 17 and up who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, ADHD, difficult marriages, relationship conflicts, and life transitions.
Sarah’s approach to counseling includes, but is not limited to, Christian Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is dedicated to walking alongside her clients as they face life’s challenges, serving as a source of encouragement toward health and growth. She strongly believes in the sufficiency of grace and the hope available through the situations we face. Sarah considers it a privilege to partner with her clients as they explore their strengths, solutions, and opportunities for growth.
